At a potluck or posh reception, people will ask you for the recipe!

These would be great added to this informal reception table.

A friend and I made these with small yeast rolls--Sister Shubert's--to serve at a tea for a bride-to-be. Not a one was left over.

You will need:

John Derst buttermilk biscuits (or yeast rolls), baked

Mayonnaise

Your favorite mustard

Chopped Vidalia onion ( if desired)

Butter, softened, or use the half butter and half canola oil by Land O'Lakes

Poppy seeds

Shredded Swiss Cheese

Thin slices of Smithfield ham

Spread the biscuits or rolls with the next four items and sprinkle with poppy seeds. Fill with the cheese and ham. Heat and serve, or freeze and save for heating later.
