Grannie’s Chicken Grannie loved this recipe. I don’t know where it came from, but we enjoyed it at her house accompanied by mashed potatoes and Le Sueur peas liberally seasoned with butter and pepper. Chicken pieces or whole cut-up chicken 1 packet onion soup mix 1 bottle 1890 French Dressing 1 jar apricot preserves. Mix last 3 ingredients together, pour over chicken, and bake at at 350 degrees until done—about 1 hour.
